Core Business Training Core in Education - Schools & Colleges Training & Development Programmes for Women Training Tips

core training in schools & colleges

Core Training consultants have worked with some of the world's leading organisations. Their development of staff up to strategic levels led them to research how different generations could bring different skills to the workplace. It was this that brought the development of a portfolio of programmes for schools. If Core Training understands the skills required for business in the current day and what it takes to succeed, then why shouldn't we be passing these skills on to our students - the workforce of tomorrow?

Core Training believes that students should be at the cutting edge of business development in order to develop the right attitudes and skills necessary for business.

Our consultants are inspirational in that they use their practical experiences of transforming people and businesses when working with the students.

Case Study - Newbiggin Middle School Positive Playgrounds

Newbiggin Middle School have identified problems with lack of positive play activity during break and dinner times and are attempting to address this through the Postive Playgrounds Enterprise project. On Thursday 20th November, Newbiggin Middle School's team of pupil project managers will be working with local business woman, Alison Craggs of Core Training to devise an effective business plan and marketing strategy in order to attract external funding through the Keyfund programme. Pupils will also be developing their leadership and enterprise skills during this particular workshop examining how they can work together to deliver a fantastic range of playground developments that the whole school can be proud of.

" Alison has developed a range of highly innovative programmes for students as part of our project - the studentfutures post 16 employability skills project in County Durham. The programmes - Young Leaders, Communications and Treasure Hunt - have proved to be extremely popular and in great demand with our 6th Form schools and colleges. All the students and staff who have taken part have found the programmes to be very beneficial, as well as enjoyable. The students have developed a range of skills which will be highly valued by employers and tutors have recognised the value of the programmes for their students.

" We have had very positive feedback about Alison from everyone who has been involved in the programmes. Her enthusiasm and professionalism have enabled her to build up a good reputation with the school and college staff. Alison always has an excellent rapport with students, which enables them to maximise their potential and demonstrate their strengths in innovative ways. "
